The London Longsword Academy Feder

London Longsword Academy Feders

As the name says those feders have been developed in collaboration with David Rawlings for his club. They come in both heavy and light version and the main focus has been on safety and longevity, so they have a broadened, full thickness tip; sturdy, rounded at the end, crossguard and soft shaped schilt. The blade is of flat section and flexes on the last third, so to stop it from flapping. The grip is waisted and bound in jute string soaked in resin.

Price for a feder like this would be £320, a special price is offered for LLA members
