Italian Sidesword 16th c. - DA\SS02

Sidesword 16th century

This is a simple three port sidesword, plain tapered quillons and oval pommel.
The grip is wrapped in leather, twisted steel wire and cord.
This kind of geometry with a strongly tapered blade, hollow ground, helps to have a light, very neutral, balance but a blade that "wants to cut" when moved so.

Price for one like this, given all the possible choices for both dimensions and design details the price range is between £510 and £600
